Activity won't sync

completed a ride today, went to sync the device and nothing. I pulled the .fit file from the activities folder from the device and when I try to upload it, I get an error claiming the file type isn't supported. Help!?!

It's likely that the file is corrupt. Please attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

There is the .zip of the file I'm having an issue with. I tried 'FitFileTools' it recovered a large portion of the ride, but is ultimately missing over 20 miles. If you could fix it, that would be awesome!

What was the expected distance?

should be 83.22 miles and 6:35:12 E.T. It shows that on the device but won't load the file there either.

nothing of note happened at that point(other than its the closest I got to the US/Mexico border). The device continued to navigate the rest of the course and display data as normal. Everything was normal until I plugged the device into my laptop to sync the activity. After I saved my ride, it did everything normal, gave me all my totals and such. In fact the 'History' tab on the device shows an 83.22 mile ride, but won't load the file there either.
