Edge 1040 - my brightness is set to Auto and the backlight for 15 seconds. Color scheme: Night. Software version 14.50.
When it was dark (after dusk), I set the navigation, when I approach the turn (and the screen switches to the map (with the direction and time to the turn), the display is not backlight - I do not see where to go, I have to press to backlight it. The same with alerts about dangerous turns and questions, for example, to recalculate the route, but when I stop or move, the screen lights up.
The beep always works.
Is this how it should work? Why is the screen not backlight at important moments?
