Transfer Screenshots

Is there any way to transfer screenshots without having to manually connect the 1040 to a computer?  Seems like the images would sync when the workout syncs.

I was going to try writing something myself, but I don't see any examples I can use to start writing such an app to put in IQ Connect.

  • But as a user, I have the right to report my needs and ideas!

And other people have the right to criticize those ideas. Being able to report an idea doesn't make it a good one.

I still don't know what you want the screenshots for. You haven't made a case that it's a valid "need".

    Ideas are cheap anyway.

    Garmin wouldn't exist without users!

    This is "true" but meaningless.

They can't do everything people ask for. They won't be able to satisfy everybody (which means not having those users).

If there is a "workaround", why invest in a full-fledged solution? - I have encountered such a case many times.

    ???

Yes, the problem is solved, but is the UX at a good level?

    What problem?

Which has its user requirements (I don't use RWGPS)

It doesn't have "user requirements". It's a tool for RWGPS users. RWGPS made it easy to do (they basically encourage it). Garmin actively makes it hard to do.

which doesn't seem to be easy to use.

If you are talking about RWGPS, it's not harder to use than Garmin Connect and might be better than Garmin Connect for creating routes. I think RWGPS predates Garmin Connect (for creating routes).

You've created another app that should be made by Garmin.

    Well, that's innovation for you!

the memory is large, but the amount of "IQ" is limited (ok ok, I know it's probably about RAM, CPU and overall performance, hence the limit)

I wasn't talking about disk space. It's very obvious that that isn't any sort of meaningful limit there.

  • or unstable connection with the Inpeak power meter, where the topic on this forum has several pages . You will probably write - that it is an external company and they do not have to cooperate well - but it is one standard of communication, so in my opinion they must. That's what standards are for.

    ???

Why are you sure this is Garmin's fault? If a bunch of other power meters work, doesn't that suggest it might not be Garmin's fault?

This stuff can be complicated. Even with "standards". And you are oversimplifying things.
