Trailforks version

I own a Edge 830 which shows a Trailforks v2022.10 map - now I am playing around with a rented 1040 and I see only Trailforks v2021.20 on it - how can I update it? All info I found is this rather old page: https://www.trailforks.com/help/view/138/

But it does not fit to what I see - because obviously a newer map exists, as I have it on my 830 since weeks. But for the 1040 no update seems to be available (Garmin Express only shows 2021.20 for the 1040 but 2022.10 for the 830)

Any help appreciated :)

I heard back from Garmin. They have identified the issue and are working on a fix. I will let you know when I hear it is addressed.

...I am also wondering about the "unlock" thing - the "unlock" never appeared in the trailforks app on the 1040 while on the 830 I have to "unlock" again when I un/reinstall the trailforks app. Though, as I understood the trailforks app is a separate thing and mostly for loading routes from your trailforks account and not necessary for the map, right?

I thought it might be that it needed unlocking by logging in via the app on the Edge, but that made no difference.
