Routeless ClimbPro on MTB trails

I used my Karoo 2 today on a MTB ride after months of only using the 1040 and I was shocked to see the Climber screen show up on the MTB climbs that I was doing. Apparently, the Karoo algorithm works on all known roads OR trails. Something that Garmin should think about when they implement something similar.

Oh please no.

It's already bad enough as-is. It just randomly pops up and I have to swipe it away because you're not getting any directions anymore and I have no idea when to turn, and it's just randomly assigning parts as climbs it seems. Was climbing for 5 minutes and all of the sudden "climb starts in 200 meters". Eh no?

Are you referring to the Edge or the Karoo? Because I haven’t had any problems on the Karoo.
