Remove Last Ride from Home Screen

Just upgraded today from 530 Plus to 1040 and did my first ride with it.  Like it so far.  I want customize the Home Screen to show only useful info to me.  I was able to disable and remove Daily Suggested Workout per the instructions on the manual, but it replaced it with "Last Ride" instead.  I cannot find a way to remove this from the Home Screen.  The details of the Last Ride takes up 50% of the top of the home screen and is not useful for me to keep looking at, as I already intimately know this info, and would instead like to have other useful smaller widgets take up that important Home Screen real estate.

Question/Suggestion: Is there a way to remove Last Ride from the Home Screen or move it to the below the Glances list?  If not please add an option to disable this so we don't have to always scroll past this to access the Glances List . Thanks.

  • Doesn't seem you can, it either shows the "last ride" or the "last course" entered into the course list, neither is in the actual glances list so can't be removed or even re-ordered. I agree it isn't a useful employment of space on the home screen, I wonder what the designers were thinking?

  • To be honest I want to have fixed(freezed)  activity on top of the screen, the rest , yes, they should be cusomizable

Also ability to sort activities profiles , also something to not be able to select Indoor activity while you ride outside

  • Agree.  Perhaps they should make that item a part of the editable Glances list - that way it could be enabled/disabled or moved up or down the list order as desired.

  • I saw this annoying feature on my Garmin 840 Solar. I got rid of it by selecting it and deleting it. This did not delete the workout from my Garmin Connect Account on the phone app and cloud.
