Will the Edge 1040 get SatIQ?

That sounds like a nice feature!  I'm using the highest level of GPS on my new 1040, mostly to see how long the battery will last.  So far, I've done about 22 hours, and I'm at 61% battery.  I'm quite certain I don't need that level where I ride, because we don't have tall buildings or dense foliage, even in the hilly areas.  So I'll test again with the mid-level choice.

I have set GPS settings based on the activity profiles, best accuracy (ulti-GNSS Multi-band)  on mountains when I go in the weekend, on the flat road that I usually ride I have enabled Multi GNSS  ,   I think GPS will be enough

I really like SatIQ on my Forerunner 955, it’s set-and-forget for best accuracy and battery life. I sure hope it comes to the Edge 1040.

Indeed but with > 40h autonomy with multisystems/multibands, it is a little bit less relevent on Edge 1040 regarding autonomy benefits.

Just still an interesting question.
