Is there any way to disable the alert beeps/tones/songs for Strava Live Segments on the Edge 1040? I would love it if we had more granular control over the beeps in general. For example, I always want to hear the beeps for turn-by-turn navigation when I'm following a course/route. But I NEVER want to hear the little Live Segment beeps and songs that play—they're cute, but yeah, no thanks. (I would also like to turn off beeps for messaging notifications, but that's less important to me.)
Unless I'm missing something, the only way to disable Live Segment tones is to completely turn off ALL tones, which is a bummer. Is there any way to more granularly control which tones are enabled and which tones are disabled? I have a Varia radar, and thankfully I was able to go into the Varia sensor settings and disable tones for just the radar without turning off all tones, but it doesn't seem like the same granular ability applies to Live Segments.
I basically wish there was a "Live Segment" toggle and a "Message Notification" toggle on this Audio Prompts screen:
