14.20 stuck at 80%

Phased rollout stuck at 80% for 4 days now, and my device won't update - is there an issue or does somebody at Garmin need to jiggle the handle?

No kidding, or maybe they suddenly figured out 14.20 isn't much better than 12.16 and stopped.

Over many Garmins and many releases I have always found using Express (on a PC or Mac) connected to device via USB gives a much higher success rate than GC Mobile or Wi-Fi, I very frequently seem to be in the first 20%s using this method, unless Garmin just likes me a lot? Got 14.20 about 10 minutes after the announcement

That’s how I’ve been trying update mine, USB C cable to PC. Express tells me 12.16 is current. Same if I try direct from 1040.

I've tried many times too with no success, Garmin likes you better than me :D

I'm an American living in Germany. This morning I fired up the PC, launched my VPN software and set my location to Dallas, Texas, and then connected my 1040. I now have 14.20 installed.

I don't understand why they do their updates in such way.

Why updates are not available to all of us. Why we have to wait and check the roll-out phases.

Is there a real problem to attach a link to direct download a new firmware by Garmin?

C'mon Garmin. So many why ... Weird :/

I was about to install a VPN as suggested but I've got the update at the same moment ^^

IF the update stucks for days, for me this is the do not install this version indicator. I stay on 14.12 for a while and see what is wrong with this new public version.
