Track thickness

Hi there,
I'm new on this forum but almost old as Garmin GPS user.

There've been several questions in past years about changing track thickness without positive answer and here we go again.
I hoped you could change thickness of imported GPX (as well as color) but I can't find this feature neither in my brand new Edge 1040 solar.

Any canche to find it in next sw release?

Please consider the big improvements in accessibility for those clourblinded or similar.

Some things in the land of the Garmin seem to never change despite wide support and obvious sense, track thickness being one. But in the last year and a bit there is a tiny crack opened regarding track color https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/edge-530/290989/how-to-make-course-line-easier-to-see but it is a bit of a hack. The same mechanism does support changing the line / track thickness but this is not (currently) suppored on Edge devices. Good luck & good riding.

ps They could of course do a lot better with a UI to better support this but probably won’t .

I've with the info in that thread pimped my track on the Edge830 + Edge1040. For me it makes a big difference.
Remember to NOT modify the "classic.mkft" directly as it will overwritten on every boot, as written on page2. Copy it to your own i.e. "purple.kmtf" and modify that.
