Could we have the ability to disable them? When zooming out while navigating the map, green dots won't just get away, and in addition of adding lag, they don't make it easier to read the map.
The only way I found to reduce the amount is to set detail mode to low, but then by doing so, most roads, forests, small villages, would also vanish from the map!
