Where do I find sensor battery level after an activity?

I just logged my third or fourth ride this afternoon, and wanted to see the status of the batteries in my sensors - heart rate monitor, Rally power pedals, speed sensor, etc.

can this be viewed on the Edge 1040 itself, or is this in Garmin Connect?

  • On the Garmin, not that I doubt @tjj1664 but on my recent first ride with the 1040 it gave me the battery info when I finished the ride (can't recall if it was when I pressed the stop button or when I selected the (ride) Save button but it gave me new (first) "records" and the battery info (screenshot below). I can't see any battery info in GC associated with this ride nor is there any battery info with the ride summary in history for this ride so I assume the battery info is a transitory display at the end of the ride and not available after.?

  • garmin connect→≡device→sensors(Can also be seen here)

  • It's late, so I have my phone turned off, but I went to Garmin Connect on on PC, and it is showing that my speed sensor and Rally pedals have "OK" battery status.  I was hoping for more useful information, like a number of bars or a percentage.

I didn't see the Sensors screen that you show above, but maybe I just missed it.

  • After saving a ride scroll down the screen showing the ride details and you'll see the sensor battery status.

  • I see 3 sensors in connect , but i have 4 sensors. Varia, hrm dual and 2 power meters, 1-1 on different bikes. But i see only one power meter in the list. Why?

  • FWIW:  The sensor battery levels displayed in the Connect app on my phone and on the GC website have little relation to reality.  e.g. it shows my HRM last checked on 8/24 as being low, though I've since charged and ridden with it a number of times and is at 94% battery after the last ride.   It shows the battery level of my '16 mtb, last check on 8/27, as being OK.  It is not an ebike and doesn't have electronic shifting!  It has no ANT+ or BT capability.  I have no idea how it shows up as a sensor.  I do have it, along with my other non-electronic bikes, added as Gear, but those other bikes don't show up.  None of my 3 paired Garmin speed senors are listed.  Typical Garmin Edge wackness.
