Deleting a Strava Live Segment off GARMIN 1040 (bug?)

Hi,

not sure anyone has tried this, but I cannot get 12 strava live segement off my garmin 1040.

If I pull them up on the garmin 1040 and hit delete either of 2 ways with the trash can, the are gone and come back on a little bit later.

If I plug the 1040 into the computer, go to my Garmin Segments folder and see the actual segement (.fit) and delete it, it is gone but then when I plug in again it reappears on the list.

These 12 strava live segments are not starred on my strava web site and I have synced of course already.

They will not go away.

Bug for Beta V14.15?

Also what is the difference between the Segment_list.fit and the actual segments files?  

Seems the list may by important here but how do I change or even see this?

What is going on? ideas?

    Check that on Strava the popular segment option is not enabled under my segments as this will add additional segments

    I have popular segments off, this way I pick up 20 or 30 more personal starred live segments and really max out my 100.

    NO, I am talking aboat truly being unable to delete strava live segments off my 1040. No way to get rid of. No delete on 1040, no delete the file in the segment folder (it comes back).

    Crazy.

    I did go into the 10 or so segments and DISABLED them (slid the enable button off for each segment no longer want).

    I guess this is all I can do right now.

    Anyone else try to delete off 1040 yet?
