Edge 1040 was included in the big press release on Tuesday, yet there's no mention of a public release here, just the ongoing 14.14 beta. Has the official update not launched along with all of the other models mentioned? If not, why the delay?

Beta is on 14.15 atm. Join the beta channel if you want to try out. Otherwise until stability achieved there wil off course be a public stable release.
Their own press release says available NOW. So Garmin says stability has been achieved...
Here's the Garmin press release: www.garmin.com/.../
The press release says:
The free software updates are available now. Customers can update their smartwatch or cycling computer by enabling automatic updates from their device or by using Garmin Express.
And here's a PDF outlining all the changes coming to the various watches: www8.garmin.com/.../August2022.pdf
Well. The mentioned features where released in 12.16 already.
those release announcements say “coming soon” and “over the next few weeks to selected devices” ?
Let's not argue. 1. It says and I quote "the free software updates are available now" and 2. If you head to the respective forums of every other device mentioned, they have all had the official release this week. All of them. Every one. Except the edge 1040, hence my original question
