Do you have auto-selection switched off?

It never has been on. Auto select effort always off. Goal at top of list.

Is this the setting you are saying?? always been off

I also put QOM there to see if that shows up at all when I flip the arrows and I have never seen QOM appear on screen. I did this to see if this list is even matching.

I have only ever seen PR, goal, KOM, club leader but not even in this order.

There is nothing in the GC or Strava app that is affecting this possibly?

Take a look at the actual leaderboard data for one of the segments you rode and see what entries are there. I suspect you will find there is no goal value.

When you mean the actual leaderboard data, I assume you mean on the Strava website page? Yes they are there and I know they are there because as I am riding with the 1040 and the starve live segment begins, and PR shows up top I can hit the right or left arrow and navigate to the new GOAL that I set yesterday.

I am not saying the goal is not there, I am saying is it possible that the default leader priority is just not working?

No I mean on the Edge

Goto Training -> Strava Live Segments  -> name of segment you wish to look at -> Leaderboard

I suspect that the leaderboard in Strava is not matching what the Edge has

ok, that had me excited for a moment b/c I usually do not go there. But what is there is

I am going to test this segment right now and see what shows up first. Even though I know it will be PR still.

so I set the goal in strava as you know

the goal works as it shows on the 1040

but what decides what shows first when the segment starts? is it something in strava or simply the leader board priority list?

or is it set for each segment on the 1040?

do you think it is a bug or still something I am not doing right?
