I switched from 1030 Plus to 1040 Solar. During nights I set the backlight to 10% and backlight timeout to 15s to save battery and not being blinded by a bright screen. When I navigate a course the backlight would automatically turn on before each turn on the 1030, however on the 1040 I can hear the audible notifaction for an upcoming turn but the screen stays dark. Each time I need to tap the screen to turn the backlight on and see where I need to go. This is super annoying behaviour and makes the 1040 useless for riding in the dark.
Is there some hidden setting I have not found, yet? Or do others face the same problem?
