it came back last night
Did you ride a bike or just use the Edge at home?
The beep could also be a prompt to press the start button.
This can happen (depending on the start setting) even when driving every few 100 meters, if no recording was started.
However, a large "Play" sign then also appears on the display.
I have only used the unit riding my bike. It is set to auto start. The unit has started and is recording. Nothing shows up when the beep goes off. All of the sensors are connected. I have turned off all notifications I can find. This is driving me nuts.
Thanks
Do you use an electronic shifting system? If so the beeps could be associated with the end of gear range warning or and attempted over shift.
The shifting sensor has a separate tone control that can be accessed when the Edge is in communication with it.
No I do not have electronic shifting. However It is an Trek eBike. I have all Garmin sensors. The only connection from the eBike is the power meter. I had the same setup with my Garmin 1030 I just replaced and I never got the beep with the 1030.
