The new public beta program seems to have a bug itself

, you just announced a new public beta program.  You mentioned that “You can find compatible device information and instructions for enrolling in the Public Beta Program here”  This lists the Edge 1040 Series as compatible.  However with the Edge 1040, the option “4. Click Join Beta Software Program” is not actually available.  When will this program be started?

  • I found the Join option in the Garmin connect web under Dashboard and then Devices for your 1040. Then I used Garmin Connect app from my Mac for sync to device. However the update fails for me and I'an not alone having this experience. It has been reported in the Beta feedback forum by other as well.
