Is this possible on a GARMIN 1040?

Hi all Garmin 1040 Beta users:

Is this possible? I do not think it is, or ever was on any garmin versions..

While riding a LIVE STRAVA SEGMENT, any way to see your moving riding time ON THAT SEGMENT while going up it?

So like the second the segment starts a timer of some sort starts counting up to show you elapsed segment time?

It was added in the beta versions on the forum 14.12 and 14.13.

There is a new data field called segment time.

This was only in the Beta version and NOT in the released 14040 versions?

Yes it came at build 14.12

Correct. I've only tried it on the Stamina page, but it should work on any page.

Can I ask you one more. May seem stupid but is there a field that shows the distance you've gone on the segment? I am not sure it shows it as you climb up the segment does it?

I use distance to go rather than distance gone. Find this far more useful as I’m trying to judge effort left. What’s gone is gone!

The short answer is no. You can see the distance that is left on the segment, but not the distance travelled along the segment.

On the 1040 this would be the "Distance to Next"

thanks, I had a personal reason for wanting this but can see it will never happen.
