Garmin Edge 1040 Solar automatically starts route even though i did not prompt

I'll be riding and the garmin automatically starts a route that is saved but not selected as "always show" etc.  After I cancel the route, if I'm even in the vicinity of any route saved on the unit, it will restart a route again and try to navigate me towards automatically selected route.  In addition to this bug, the unit will automatically turn on the strava "segments" slider even though I never selected it.  It did this with the 12.16 and also with the new Beta 14 firmware.

    Have also seen this behaviour on the non-solar version. Have started a ride and at some stage noticed on the map page that I am navigating to somewhere without having selected any course to ride! Have to go to the drop down menu , swipe right and press “Stop Navigation!”
