Elevation Graph Issue

During a break the 1040 Solar went in auto standby and after i resumed my ride i got this drop in my elevation graph:

Is this because of the auto calibration of the height? On my 830 i never saw something like that. The device runs on version 12.16.

So the pic below is an elevation gain. But I live at the top of a hill, ride downhill to the start of a chain gang, do a loop and return back to my house. You can see near the end, we all finished and stood still chatting, the elevation has a sharp drop. The whole route elevation is out, showing me going uphill at the start when really I’m going down?

And yes latest software. If I calibrate the elevation, it may say 54m which is about correct for my location, if I go out and back in to the calibrate screen, all of a sudden the elevation is lower 51, repeat without calibrating and then it’ll be 48. So I’m standing still but the elevation is dropping constantly.

I’ve also had it where when going uphill it’s showing a negative gradient -3 or even 0 when going uphill?
