A new Beta software for the Edge 1040 Series has been released. Full change log, instructions, and software for installing the beta can be found in the link below.

Are you planning to make software available worldwide this time? I'm still waiting for the 12.16 software to arrive. I asked customer support about issues I was facing and they were at a loss why 12.16 would not run. Finally after checking in with the tech team they said that the software you are usually talking about on this forum is only available for customers in the USA. Other countries may have to wait 4 to 6 weeks. What is so hard about writing the code that it takes an additional 4-6 weeks to make some adjustments? Can you put in some toggles to provide updates that are valid for all. It's hard to complain about having to wait longer for new features, but bug fixes are quite essential.

Bug (or at least on my device ) in daily suggested workout , it says Base but when I click on this , steps are empty

Can anybody check ?

Since they put the statement that is "normal behavior " my feeling that we wont see any improvement soon

Yes , also strange as on my Fenix I have anaerobic workout and with 1040 I have base one , but this is another story

I own the APAC version and always the last to get the updated firmware or not even get any at all. What is the deal this is not for the worldwide customer?
