Elevation at start

Is there an auto calibration of elevation at start? In an every new location it gives me false readings and I have to enter it manually

I'm also curious about this. Mine does appear to auto-calibrate but not until you start recording the ride. This had led to inaccurate elevation gain for the ride as it starts recording at one value and then quickly jumps up to the newly calibrated value.

Can it automatically calibrate when I turn it on rather than waiting until I start recording?

Disable automatic calibration:
"System/Altimeter" and here move the switch to the left that is "off".
