MyQ Garage Remote App not installing on Edge 1040 Solar

I previously had the MyQ Garage Remote App from Turner_TEKnologies ( https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/620ee2a4-f1ea-4a19-b6de-bff16323e7bd ) installed and configured on my Edge 1030. However it *will not* install on my new Edge 1040 Solar either via Garmin Express or via the Connect/Connect IQ App. It is supposedly compatible, but when I go through the install process, it never shows up as installed.

I've contacted the developer (about a week ago), but no response.

Anyone else have this issue?

It's the general issue with widgets not installing properly.

The version of CIQ on the 1040 handles them differently, but appears to not function the same as other devices with the same CIQ version…

Currently CIQ widgets cannot be installed on Edge 1040 and we need to wait for Garmin to fix the issue. Here you can track the issue:

The version of CIQ on the 1040 handles them differently, but appears to not function the same as other devices with the same CIQ version. The devs I've spoken to are convinced it's a bug.

Lots of widget apps are being released as 104-0 compatible but aren't working properly or at all: Accuweather, Rain chance, Weather Radar etc.

Patiently awaiting a new beta firmware.

Update: Just installed 14.20 and the MyQ Garage Remote App from Turner_TEKnologies app/widget still does not install/work
