Wahoo Kickr Snap and Edge 1040

Cannot connect Edge 1040 to Wahoo Kickr Snap either by BT or Ant+. Have tried my old Edge 530 and it connects immediately.

I have removed the Snap as a device from my Edge 530, tried to connect my Edge 1040 as an Ant+ device within "indoor trainer" and I just get a spinning wheel on the 1040 and it cannot find the Snap.

Any help appreciated.

I don't want to come out as insulting but I had problems with my Edge 1030+ and the pairing process was different than other sensors. My 1040 arrives today so I hope things are smooth for me when I set it up
