Logging HRV? Where do I find it after?

I wondering about this as well. Some mentioning that HRV status is used for training load estimation but it seems to be HRV measurement taken during sleep/rest by a Garmin watch and not the HRV data recording during activity. 

Looking under the recording options

System -> Data Recording

aweatherall Think you misunderstod...  I know where the setting is, the question is what does it do.. The manual says:

"Log HRV
Sets the device to record your heart rate variability during an activity."

So the question was what happens when I enable Log HRV under data recording, what are the benefits, where is collected HRV data used/shown?

It is not shown in the Garmin ecosystem. The data is currently only used on the device.

The recording option is there for 3rd parties to make use of the data.

3rd party means something like TrainerRoad or any other non Garmin analysis software. 

"Fit File Repair Tool" https://www.fitfilerepairtool.info/ will show you the data.  But, it's ugly.  It's just the numbers.  Not really anything useful.  At least not for me.
