Bug (or not?) Tones off but Garmin still beeping

On today morning ride I notice that I set the Tones=OFF but still Radar Varia beeps 

Also there is another bug that someone related to Course Turn Guidance off button  that is not working as it should

    The radar has a separate tone control that is independent of the general tone control. It is under the sensor settings for the radar

    Ahclear but not that intuitive, radar tones are even hard to turn off from menues, if they only add mute function in the dropdown menu it will be a breaze, there are tons of scenarios when you dont want to hear beeping radar continously

    SO MUCH THIS! I regularly ride on a frontage road along a highway. The radar scream nonstop because it can see the cars on the highway that are on the other side of a fence, an embankment, and a concrete divider. A way to easily mute the alerts would be SO good. Even better would be the option to mute them for say 1min 5min or 10min, then have them automatically turn back on in case some idiot (me) forgets. 

    To be fair, this particular request isn't specific to the 1040. I'd love to have this feature on other edge devices too.
