how do i know that Battery is charging?

Hello,

I was wondering whether some of you know how you can see that the SOLAR battery is charging?

I have the Edge 1040 Solar powered on lying on the table in the sun, however it appears that nothing happens.
I would expect that although perhaps little the solar screen should show some 'energy' going up, but no.

anyone here who know?

Mine is showing that 100% sunlight but no battery gain at all. 100% sunlight but 0 minutes battery life gained. Is it software or hardware issue?!

That's exactly the reason of my question.

So I am curious what Garmin has to say to this.
