DI2 engineer mode(Derailleur fine tune mode) is disappeared in 12.15

I’ve never heard of a Di2 engineer mode, but it sounds interesting.  I do that sort of tweaking through a Windows laptop.  How did you previously access it, as it’s not something i’ve seen on the Edge 1030 or 1040??

If you put the Di2 in adjustment mode for the rear derailleur  then the Edge shows the position and allows you to make the micro adjustments. 

I have not tried it on the 1040.

I remember not seeing the adjustment mode when I entered adjustment on 12.11. Since Di2 notifications where not working I expected this one to go the same way. Wil check on 12.16 on today's ride. Curious. 

Nope, 12.16 ... no adjustment view and no shift mode notification. Only next shift chainring notifications and last sprocket beep is working. 

Could you describe what you mean by "no shift mode notification".

The 1040 behaves like the other Edge units with Di2 support.

It will give a beep when you reach the extremes of the gear range and if you try and shift past those positions. (Attempted over shifting.)

If full synchro mode it notifies you if the next shift in the same direction will change position of the front ring.

Sure. With the edge 830 I'm used to the following Di2 behaviour:

- notification on front chainring shift next shift using synchro shifting, this works with 1040 since 12.16

- beep on last sprocket, this works with 1040

- calibration screen to fine tine your rear while in calibration mode (this topic), not working

- notification when changing shift modes, showing manual, s1, S2. Not working on the 1040
