Lost Function: Exit menus and return to navigation by pressing a Di2 button or remote control.

On my previous Garmins, when I wanted to change a parameter in settings for example, after applying it, simply touching a page change Di2 button would return me to the data or navigation fields. Now in the 1040, when I am in a menu, or in any part of the system, I touch the button to return and it is not possible, I have to go out of all the submenus, and menus, which forces me to lose a lot of time attention on the road. is it another bug?

With E1040 we lost this useful function. Hope this is a bug and will be fixed.

+1 on this. Use an extra set of buttons for edge control on my Di2 and this is bugging me horribly

Same. I'm so accustomed to just hitting a di2 button or edge remote button to jump back to my main screen. Also hoping this is a bug.

Di2 integration is way beyond like it was on the Garmin 1030.

No idea why Garmin doesn't use older versions as a base to develop new gear.

I used to use the Di2 Buttons on my Edge1030 to clear a navigation Prompt and return to my main Data Screens. Now I have to press an X on the screen with my finger which is a step backwards. As ttalonso suggests having the ability to return to Data fileds using DI2 buttons would be apreciated.
