Why APAC users are less important to Garmin?

Did you use Garmin Express? 

No I use Garmin connect mobile app. Is Garmin express the only way to update currently? 

Guess so. I tried via the device itself but did not get update. But when using Garmin Express, I get the 12.15.

I’m in Japan and still no sign of the 12.15 update for me. I’m using Garmin Express and the software is saying my 12.11 version is up to date…

Mine received the update yesterday. Am in Singapore.

I just received 12.15 software update through Garmin Express in Taiwan.

Is there still an APAC model that is different from the global model?  My Edge 830 says "Model: Edge 830 ASIA" when I check under Tools & Content via Garmin Express.  My new toy is simply called "Edge 1040 Solar".  However, I did notice that the Bluetooth device name adds Asia to the name.  Would that be because it is supplied with south-east Asia maps installed?  Was this a slow global release of 12.15?  Or are we again suffering not only from 1-2 months delays, but also missing out on many interim version releases?  It continues to surprise me, more so since it's a Taiwanese product.
