What modifications would you like to be included in future firmware versions?

I would like to ask you what modifications of the current firmware would you like to be in the new versions? Please write a few words about how these modifications should look and function. The first modification I have in mind is the color steress score bar chart. When assessing stress after exercise, a number is shown and a marked arrow appears in a pie chart in a specific zone and color. However, all these measurement results on the bar chart are white and do not reflect the color of the zone in which the measurement result was.

Personally I’m going to say nothing if possible, other than fixes required to have the unit stable and working.

Why, because over the life of my 1030 it had various enhancements that have made it now extremely unreliable to the point it was one of the reasons I got the 1040.

So I don’t want to see a whole lot of ‘improvements” that do the same to the 1040.

I wouldn't mind being able to use Spotify on it. Can be nice to listen to music (bone-conducting headphones) on quiet roads.

Just simple things … like changing alerts volume ;-) but seems its rocket science in such devices …

The arrow sure does hide to the extent that I’m not even able to find it most of the time

One more thing that comes to mind is the possibility to deactivate the virtual partner when following a route.

this will never happen , this is clear enough , everything that is course or segment is linked with VP ,

maybe if Garmin will re-write the FW from ground
