Display wont turn of

I recently bought an 1040. I already turn on battery safe mode and display time for 15 sec but the display wont turn off. Is that a bug that anothers can apply? SW 12.15

Display won't turn off on battery safe mode on 1040. Thats not a bug according to the description on device and was also presented that way in several YouTube videos since release.
