high solar intensity, 0% measured

Just a glitch today, it was very bright out and around 10:00 US Central time, almost no cloud cover.

1040 Solar measured 0% intensity and did not harvest at all. I suspected that a 1040 restart would fix it, but didn't want to do it.

End of the ride, I did restart the 1040, and it immediately went to measured max intensity.

So reboot if this happens to you

    Did you guys have a problem since owning the unit? I’ve had mine about three weeks (I realize it hasn’t been out long), but this morning was the first time I’ve had an issue. It worked as advertised my first ten rides or so. Just wondering if we can pinpoint it to a recent firmware.

    Happened to me on and off since having the unit since launch. Every FM has the same issue. 

    Worked fine this morning at 100% battery but I did not follow a course. I will try it tomorrow or later today loading a course. I did however load my road profile and went to solar screen to see if it was working prior to pressing start.

    Did another 40+ mile ride today without following a course and solar worked again. Need to try with a course but I believe that is the main FM issue for me where it has been hit or miss.
