Physio True-Up disabled by default on EDGE 1040

Much to my surprise I discovered that Physio True-Up is disabled by default on Edge 1040.

I had to enable it from My Stats - Training status

Is there a reason why it's disabled by default?  All the stats are wrong when it's off and using several devices.

    It was on for me.  Did you set up out the box or from a previous device?  I set up from a previous device, 1030, and it pulled everything across and carried out from the 1030s stats.

    Sort of. I did set up via phone but it failed. I used Garmin Express to add to my account.

    I have 530 but if that would be first Edge and True-Up is disabled then I would not be able use it as it's meant to be.

    Anyway it's odd that in my opinion such basic option is by default turned off.
