Rerouting not working with Komoot courses.

Hi all,

I usually plan all my tours with Komoot, load them onto the bike computer and then follow them.

Unfortunately, the Edge 1040 doesn't bring me back onto the track when I leave it.

Actually nothing happens and there is no re-routing.

I tested all routing options.

Is this normal with Garmin for "externally" planned routes?

With my old Hammerhead Karoo 2, I am routed back to the track immediately after leaving.

Do you use the komoot connect iq app?

I plan all my rides with komoot but I sync them directly with Garmin, and don't use the connect iq app altogether, and don't have any re-routing issue.

I was wondering the same. If you actually load the course into Garmin connect there should be no difference between external or Garmin planned routes.
