HRMDual connected but no data.

Firmware 12.15, yesterday at the end of the ride I saw the hr field in this condition '--' but the sensor in the sensor page was connected, battery is new.

In the uploaded ride in Garmin Connect the hr data wasn't present.

Both ant+, other people got the same problem, it's really weird!

Normally I have no IQ fields, connected at the same time:

- Vector 3

- Varia radar 510

- Speed sensor

- HRM of course

- Phone with smart…

I experienced that as well and also see drops like this in the graphs. Furthermore, even when data was recorded, it was totally unrealistic measures: it was displaying 170+ bpm instead of 120 bpm (from my watch), or the opposite (full effort, expected 180+ bpm but displaying 120 bpm).

Are the HR sensors connected by Ant+ or BlueTooth? I use a couple of Polar H10s connected by Ant+ and have never seen a problem.

If you willing to to enable logging of the ANT radio traffic and share that it might give some insight to what is going on.

Anyway I'm think the problem is coming from the software that mange the UI, because every sensor result as connected to the edge.

Just noting that for my old Scosch Rythm HRM, haven’t seen any issue. Nor for my old Garmin HRM strap… Both using ANT+.

Same issue with mine 1040solar since 12,15 update. Unstable HR measuring (using Garmin HRMdual and connected to 1040 via ANT+). Sometimes it freezes, sometimes it jumps to unrealistic measures (way too low or way too high), very frustrating. Changed my battery of my HRMdual, but no changes unrealistic HR measures keep on appearing from time to time...
