Edge 1040 speaks lap data to me when I hit the lap button

These are going through my headphones. I have looked everywhere, anyone know where to turn this silliness off?

It is a setting in GCM under the device. See audio prompts, Lap alert

It is a feature of the Garmin Connect app on your phone. When you go to Garmin Devices —> Edge 1040 —> audio prompts you can turn it off.
