In many tests I read that one of the new features of 1040 is its POI database and searching functions that are now extended to find easily water stops. I can't figure out where this function is. Or did I misunderstood something?

I spoke with Garmin and these point types will be included in the Cycle Map EU 2022.10 update.
Not sure of the release date for the update, but I would guess sometime in June based on previous years.
I was told from Garmin that the new Cycle Mape EU 2022 will only be released in November (I hope they mean November 2022)

Yep, that was my bet, but I don’t have it. Maybe it is something linked to certain regions?
What regional map are you using. I'm using the map for the North Americas.
No clue, but I’m in Belgium so it’s probably Europe…
Thanks that is what I needed.
Could you supply me with your location when you did the search. Obviously don't give it me if the location is sensitive. You can also PM to me.
PM sent. I've tried to change the location that is used to initiate the search from...tried Amsterdam, Budapest, New York...at some point the menu appeared, but there were nothing in it, didn't find any locations...then it disappeared, and I couldn't manage to get it back again.
I’m also in Belgium, just outside of Brussels. I am using the Europe West map that was installed on the device when I received it. Definitely no water stops.
