RTL500 Radar and Light

Has anyone managed to connect the RTL500 radar and light sensor to the Edge 1040?

I'm deaf and rely on the radar quite a lot but it appears not be supported (yet?).

It is.

If you are not on the beta, make sure you do not use ANY ConnectIQ data field. It will block pairing your ANT sensors.

Also make sure you put the radar into pairing mode. That's important.

Have you tried to pair it as a light, or searching all sensors? My RTL510 would not pair when I selected radar but once I added it as a light it paired immediately

Thanks for all the suggestions, I've tried everything and still haven't managed to get the radar to pair with the new Edge. I've sent an email to Garmin Support to see if it is supported and am awaiting a response. I'll keep you posted.
