Edge 1040 Solar Bugs and Fixes

Hi. I’ve had my Edge 1040 Solar for about one week. A few comments. 1) on my 1030 I could use the Di2 buttons to scroll through pages regardless of the screen I was currently viewing. So even from a sensor menu I could scroll back to a data screen by pressing the Di2 button. This no longer works on the 1040. 2) Light network flash setting for my RCT715 does not always work. 3) Varia Vision no longer supported. Adding support would be greatly appreciated. Jerry R

The same with Garmin remote. Having 1030 I could go to the map or scroll screens with one click on remote even when I was "deep" in menu. Very useful, especially since my 1040 touch screen reacts very poorly when my fingers are dry while riding. I cannot find touch screen sensitivity setting in menu. My 1040 is not Solar.

Works fine for me, I can move the pages back and forth with my Di2 Hood buttons.

poyo The issue is when you are trying to return back to a data screen from a sensor menu or other non-data screen menu. On the 1030 I could push my Di2 button and it would return and scroll to the next data screen from any sensor menu regardless of how “deep” I was in that menu. With the 1040 Solar, I can scroll data screens with my Di2 button but it is unresponsive when I push the Di2 button from a sensor menu. This requires backing out of the nested sensor menu and returning to the data screen which can be a real pain.

Ok now I understand, I'll try it but it probably won't work as you say.

Same issue here! Waiting for an update fro Garmin with a fix.
