Freezing by map viewing

The device is freezing during viewing and scrolling the map - only hard reset helps

Is anybody having such an issue?

Yes same issue here, map freezes after zooming :( version 12.15, only reset helps please help... i have upgraded from g1030 but i am sooo dissapointed :(

Bike maps of europa,doesnt matter which country or region - have tried Austria as well as Slovakia with different locations, always the same - after few moves on map the device completely freeze

I also try to install beta 14.14 and take message "software failed to install"

Happened to me also,after reboot (maybe 2 reboots) has been successfull

but after rebooting do not showing update screen again !

By me started the update again automatically

But mayne u can try to delete the uodate file,reboot,copy it over and tje try to install

Same bug with last official release, freeze every time using navigation or showing map. Only way to unfreeze is to reset.

And only way to continue ride with map is to use high contrast map instead of mountain bike map.

Hi, just unpacked my new Garmin Edge 1040 and also directly same issue! When starting scrolling map it is freezing after 5-8 seconds!

No, it was before update just unpacked. And now it seams all ok after update!just nit sure witch version I got after update. Don’t have it near by me now.
