I do not have access to Stamina graphic field, only numeric field - help!

Hi.

I just received my Garmin Edge 1040. I bought it and the XC200 power meter pedals, because I want to have Stamina data while I ride on my EBike. I also do trail run and Stamina works very well to me on my Fenix 7.

On this image from Garmin, we can see on the top field a graphic about Stamina (similar to what I see on Fenix 7) but I only get a numeric value on my Edge 1040, even on a big data fields!! please help me.

    It is a seperate datascreen not a datafield. Go to your profile -> datascreens -> add new. Then select Stamina instead of datafields.

    You need to either add the Stamina page as a training page.

    That image above is the stamina page with other data fields add to that page.

    I can think of three possibilities

    • Are you using the default stamina screen or did you create one yourself?  If you created it yourself you need to be sure to select the graphical fields and not the regular ones. But as mentioned above, it’s easier to add the default stamina screen to your Activity Profile than creating your own.
    • You will not see any graphical data there until you have started an activity. (With the start button of the device) and have logged some data from the sensors
    • Some kind of bug (it works fine for me though)

    Thanks to everyone. It is solved.

    The solution is to had a specific Stamina page to the activity. This is totally different from Fenix 7, were I can add a Stamina gauge other than plain numeric data fields.
