Varia RTL-515 missing from saved sensor list.

I'd say just treat the sensor migration as a joke at this moment.

After you saved it yourself, was ist saved? If it was saved, is your 1040 supporting saving of RTL-515?

It's a bug.  The sensors are supposed to get automatically added when you upgrade from your previous device.  Should have been fixed by QA/QC before release.

All sensors apart from my Varia 515 ported across and worked on 12.14. I cannot manually pair my Varia either. It doesn’t appear on a sensor search 

I had to pair my varia 510 manually too. I dont know if its true to the 515 as well,but dont forget to set the device in pairing mode (long press button until it lights purple)

I had to manually pair my RTL-515 to the 1040.  I don't understand why the Edge 1040 doesn't support automatically migrating one of Garmin's own sensors from the 1030 Plus, but it doesn't work.

Until there is a quick workaround like manually pairing, who cares that it doesnt do automatically? We have to do this only once. Im afraid that there will be more complicated problems :(
