Recovery Time to zero after every restart

On my new 1040 when I finish a workout the Recovery Time is display in the right way.

But after restart of the unit, even after one hour, the recovery time comes back to zero.

I noticed something similar on my new Edge 1040. After the first ride it said my Recovery Time would be 39 hours which is probably about right based on similar rides on Edge 1030\530.

This 39 hours replicated to my Epix2 and Edge 1030 (didn't check 530) but when I looked a little later on the Edge 1040 it was saying 10 hours and this morning it says 0 where as my Epix is stating 27 hours.

This happens to me moments away after finishing the ride, the Recovery widget resets to 0, although this data is passed correctly to Garmin Connect and fwded to the watch.

Même problème pour moi avec une forerunner 945, récupération à 0.

La synchro Trueup synchronise de manière farfelue.

Ce edge 1040 est plein de bug, je continue toujours à utiliser mon edge 830 qui est même plus rapide que le 1040 dans le défilement des pages.

I have a similar issue. After my ride my recovery time on my edge 1040 was 71 hours, and on my FR 955 17 hours. A few minutes later it was set to 17 hours on both devices. It was a hard ride so 71 hours certainly feels like the right number! Pleas advice on what I might be doing wrong. I have physio trueup set to on on both devices. Thanks

Same thing just happened to me.

I restarted my new 1040 due to weather data not syncing from Connect app…. And it resulted in recovery time resetting from 3 days to 0….

it’s really upsetting I’m getting a lot of extra bugs and glitches after I moved from 830 to 1040. I truly don’t understand why this is the case….. it’s very very disappointing.
