Ah OK that makes sense thanks. The confusion was - I had paired 2 bikes (import from 1030 Plus didn't work another story), one was at 50%, the other 90%, and the box was a different size for each bike. It looks like one bike was on the small ring, the other on the large, so the width of digits would have been different.
1/2 2/2 are visable, (rear) 1/11 etc is a black box
