I just upgraded to the 1040 Solar from an Edge 1030, all the sensors and settings migrated, but I can't connect to the rear derailleur on my gravel bike. The sensor was listed but showed not gear positions. I woke up the system properly but it still didn't connect. It still connects with the old Garmin, so it is not the drivetrain.
I tried deleting the misbehaving sensor entry. Now when I scan the 1040 finds nothing, even though the SRAM is alive and well.
All the Edge software is up to date, as is the firmware on the SRAM side. Hitting bugs like this out of the box is really disappointing.
