Have the 1040 since yesterday. Amazing device, however the touchscreen reacts to changing sunlight. E.g. when navigating a route, coming from shade to sunlight leads to a complete zoom out of the map without getting even close to the touchscreen , so that I can see whole Europe. Not the ideal resolution for navigating a bike route. I now wonder if the unit is defective and I better return it or if it is maybe a user problem. Does anybody have similar experience?
