Edge 1040 can't enter cogs larger than 45 for SRAM AXS

I connected my 1040 to my Eagle AXS gears on my MTB.  It did not read any of the gear info from AXS.  When I tried to enter the cog values I got an error message saying that the largest allowed cog was 45 teeth.  Doesn't make sense when the largest Eagle AXS cog is 52 teeth.  This needs to be fixed.

    Jumping on this late and with limited technical understanding, I haveSRAM GX Eagle AXS, T-Type and experienced the same issue as above. I have selected the 10-52 option for the rear cassette. Why does it show 39 for the front ring when there are only 34 teeth?
    What am I missing? There doesn't seem to be an option to edit this (unlike the rear cassette). Thanks
