importation of gpx, tcx files - failure

Every time I want to import a gpx or tcx file, the import seems to go well and in the end the route is empty. For example I import tcx routes from official national tourism sites..

Whatever you’re trying to do is not a GE problem. What device or watch?

I have the same problem: if I want to import the .gpx file onto my new Garmin Edge 1030 it says simply that an error occurred and could not download it. What to do?

Zip the file and attach it here. Maybe we can have a look to see if there is an issue with it.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., then share a link to the file in your post.

Some of the GPX files so e sites provide don't work on the Edges.

You might be able to get them to work by converting the file (even to the same type).

It's unusual for tourism sites to provide TCX. GPX is much more universal.

You really need to provide an actual example. Even a link to the site would help.
